Analytical Chemist

Job description:
Quality, Environmental and Food Safety Programmes: Performing qualitative and quantitative measurements used to assure compliance with environmental and other regulations; to assure the safety and quality of raw materials, finished products and water; and to provide chemical measurements essential to processing.

Qualifications and competencies required:
A relevant tertiary qualification (for example):
B. Technology (Food),
B. Consumer & Applied Science,
Bachelor of Science (Food Science and Human Nutrition) .

Analytical, good communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, project management skills, and familiarity with relevant instrumentation, systems and software.

Starting salary:
$36,000

Mid career salary:
$50,000
