NZIFST has its own dedicated section in
Food New Zealand, comprising news and information about the organisations' activities, and their merged memberships – Institute Divisions make regular contributions with articles about their areas of interest.
The magazine is published six times a year
and is free to members of NZIFST.

Food New Zealand back issues
Food New Zealand was launched in 2003, building on the foundations established by
New Zealand Food Journal and DIANZ's publication
Dairy Technology, which were discontinued as independent magazines.
Peppermint Press is the publisher of
Food New Zealand. The company was set up specifically to publish the journal. Principals are
Anne Scott, Editor, and
David Pooch, both long time NZIFST members with significant experience in publishing and business between them.
