Join us on the NZIFST Study Tour to Thailand and experience the country, research facilities, food processing industries and cuisine. It starts on June 8th in Bangkok, goes to Chiang Mai then back to Bangkok to join the Asean Food Conference http://aseanfoodconference.com and/or the ProPak Asia Exhibition www.propakasia.com as you choose.
NZIFST has arranged the tour in conjunction with the counterpart Thai Food Association and there is a good mix of factory visits, traditional cuisine, retail food outlets, technical interface, and sightseeing. The Propak Expo is a huge event as well. The tour will be lead by Gary Broome of FoodTech International Ltd an experienced international technologist and business facilitator.
Cost: Following earlier expressions of interest received and the defining of the total tour cost, NZIFST is now calling for confirmed registrations for participation, so that sufficient numbers can be committed to proceed with the tour at this time.
Participant cost per person based on 10 persons is NZD2,950. This cost covers
(i) Return airfares Bangkok-Chiang Mai (ii) Tour Package inclusive of:
Meals and transportation as in the itinerary

Additionally your attendance at the Conference Dinner on 17th June will be complementary.
A minimum of 10 persons is required to be viable and the institute reserves the right to cancel of postpone in the case of insufficient uptake.
