Speed Mentoring

Last year the Auckland branch committee recognised the need to put more of our younger Institute members in contact with our senior members, and organised our first speed mentoring event last September. The feedback from this event was overwhelmingly positive and we are working towards the 2020 event on Tuesday 13th October.

The evenings format will involve a number of short one-on-one discussions between senior members and juniors members, typically of 5-6 minutes duration. While we have described this event as “Speed Mentoring” the aim is to initiate contact within the Auckland branch, and make some of the younger members aware of some of the wealth of experience that sits within our industry, particularly with our Fellows.
