Carolyn Mortland ”Food sustainability: a Fonterra perspective”.

Carolyn Mortland is Director, Global Sustainability for Fonterra.  She leads a business unit of over 110 passionate people, driving Fonterra’s strategic social and environmental sustainability priorities globally, while also managing the company’s environmental management system to reduce Fonterra’s environmental footprint across emissions, water use, packaging, waste and biodiversity.

Carolyn has an LLB and BA (Politics) from Victoria University, and practiced in corporate law before moving into policy, stakeholder and sustainability roles. She has previous held positions with Fonterra working in Foodservice Strategy, Policy & Advocacy, and Government Relations & International Trade based in Washington DC.
