Factory Visit - Waikato Branch - Food Waikato Dryer

The NZIFST Waikato Branch invites members to visit the Food Waikato dryer. The Food Waikato spray dryer was built by Waikato Innovation Park to deliver an open access spray facility in the region. The facility is New Zealand’s first and only independent product development spray dryer.

The spray dryer manufactures sheep, goat and cow milk powders and converts these powders into bases that can be used to make nutritional formula, including infant formula.
